Shake ingredients together with ice, EXCEPT champagne. Strain mix into champagne flute and pour champagne on top with lemon peel garnish.
Serve in coupe glass.
Garnish with dust with grated nutmeg.

Sorry, it took me so long to revisit an old creation. Green Chartreuse is delicious but both the strong flavour and alc./vol. overwhelm what is intended to resemble alcoholic custard.
