2 oz of Bacardi 8 (or Light Rum)
2 oz of Lime Juice
1 1/2 oz of simple syrup
2 dash of Angostura bitters
Champagne
mint leaves
In a cocktail shaker, muddle the mint leaves with simple syrup and lime juice. Add ice, rum, and bitters. Shake vigorously and strain into a martini glass. Top with Champagne and garnish with a sprig of mint. Recipe courtesy of Bemelmans Bar.
