16 oz of jellied cranberry juice (or Passion-fruit Juice)
1/8 tsp of Salt
2 cup of water
butter
1/3 cup of firmly packed brown sugar (or Vanilla Sugar)
2 cup of sunsweetened pineapple juice (or apple juice)
1/4 tsp of ground cinnamon (or cinnamon)
1/4 tsp of ground allspice
1/8 tsp of ground cloves (or whole cloves)
1/8 tsp of ground nutmeg (or nutmeg)
Crush cranberry sauce with a fork. Mix with sugar, spices and salt. Add water and pineapple juice. Cover and simmer 2 hours. Ladle into mugs and float a pat of butter in each serving.
