1/2 oz of Sambuca (or elderberry liqueur)
2-3 dash of tabasco sauce
1/2 oz of silver tequila (or Tequila)
Pour Sambuca into a clear tall shot glass. Slowly add a few dashes of Tabasco sauce on top of the Sambuca (it will rest on top to create a thin red line). Finally, slowly pour the tequila on top of the mix. The result is a flat red line suspended in an otherwise clear shot; downing it has a great kick followed by a sweet aftertaste.
Serve in shot glass.
Garnish with none.
