Cream Sherry Sangaree - Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 oz of club soda (alt: clear soda)
  • 2 oz of Cream Sherry
  • 1 tsp of superfine sugar (alt: sugar)
  • 2 tsp of water
  • 1 of pinchground cinnamon (alt: cinnamon)
  • 1 of pinchgrated nutmeg (alt: nutmeg)
  • 1/2 oz of benedictine herbal liqueur

    • Instructions

    Add the sugar to a highball glass. Add water and sherry, and stir to dissolve sugar. Almost fill the glass with crushed ice, and add club soda. Float the benedictine on top. Garnish with a lemon twist, a dusting of nutmeg and cinnamon, and serve.
