1/4 cup of cardamom
1 1/2 cup of water
2 tsp of loose darjeeling tea (or green tea)
Place the tea in a teapot. Combine the cardamon seeds and the water in a saucepan and simmer over low for 3-5 min, stirring occasionally. Pour this water into the teapot and let the tea steep for 3-5 min, depending on your taste. Strain into 2 cups and milk and/or sugar, if desired.
